The exhibition "Pictures. The Collection of Olga and Sergey Popov" features 4 works by Vitaly Pushnitsky from the "Occam's Razor" series. In total, the cycle comprises about 300 images and is a long‑term visual study of the work of the Old Masters.

A kind of culmination of the "Occam's Razor" series was the publication of the eponymous book, in which Vitaly Pushnitsky continues his explorations not only in images but also in words. The artist supplements each dissected postcard with a photograph and a reflection on the nature of art, time, matter, and memory.

In addition to Pushnitsky's essay, the book — which marked the debut of Denis Khimilyayne's publishing program — includes articles by three prominent Russian art critics: Sergey Popov, Irina Terentyeva, and Gleb Ershov. The result is a kind of museum of the entire history of art, a philosophical treatise, and a collection of articles all at once.

The original works from the "Occam's Razor" series can be seen at the exhibition at pop/off/art until August 17.
