The reviews section opens with a conversation, "Museum of Memory," between Sergey Guskov and Viktor Misiano, which in a sense continues the main theme of the issue, touching on the lost — and now being restored — memory of Vladimir Kupriyanov, one of the most important Soviet and Russian photo artists of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.

Viktor Misiano: "Due to a number of circumstances, after Vladimir Kupriyanov's death in 2011, a large exhibition of his works was postponed. And now this is truly the first opportunity to understand what he did in art and what place he occupies in it."

Guskov: "So he is creating a kind of museum of Soviet civilization?"
Misiano: "Not only Soviet — a museum of memory in general. In the text I wrote for the catalog, there is a conclusion that is important to me. I see in Kupriyanov an artist who, perhaps more deeply than anyone else, has worked through the issues of the post‑Soviet — or, more precisely, has conveyed the experience of the last Soviet generation."
