Kirill Chelushkin (born 1968) is a versatile artist. Having received a strong academic education at The Moscow Architectural Institute, Chelushkin naturally combines the ability to respond to topical issues with his search for new, plastic forms and his zest for experimentation. As well as continuing the more traditional work of the artist in the genre of painting and book illustration, Chelushkin also works with spatial forms – exploring the genre of videosculpture, which combines video projection and sculptural objects.
Kirill Chelushkin graduated from The Moscow Architectural Institute in 1994, and has been a member of The International Federation of the Union of Graphic Artists since 1993. He has actively and successfully collaborated with Russian publishing houses, and lived for several years in the United States where he worked with several large galleries. Chelushkin’s works have taken their places in prestigious museum collections, including: The State Tretyakov Gallery, the Museum of Architecture named after A.V. Shchusev, The Cultural Foundation "Ekaterina", and private collections in Poland, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, the United States, including the collection of Bernard Arnault (Paris).
